JSSCの皆様

今日はいくつかお知らせがあります。

１、まずはじめに、アイオワ大学日本人会では、JCA(Japanese Culture Association)と共催で来週の金曜日の(６時から８時に)フィリップスホールの６階のラウンジでポットラックを予定しております。学内の方との交友を広げる良い機会ですので、ご家族お友達をお誘いの上お越しください。

今年は紙コップや紙皿、フォークなどのストックがありませんので、なるべく食器やコップ類をご持参ください。お料理のお時間がない方は、食器類や飲み物を持ってきていただいても大歓迎です。

２、１月２８日、来週の木曜日になりますが、タヒチ救済のランチウィズシェフがIMUで１１時半より行われます。昼食代は１０ドルで、そのうちの６ドルはタヒチに寄付されます。ご協力よろしくお願いいたします。


３、 インターナショナルプログラムのNOさんが、碁の打てる方を探しています。お心当たりの方は、studorg-jssc@uiowa.edu までどうぞ。

I am the Graduate Assistant for International Programs Outreach. I administer a student group in Mayflower called the International Crossroads Community. We are organizing a game night event centered around the game "Go 碁" or "Wei Qi 圍棋" or "Baduk 바둑". It is our hope to get some folks who are interested in talking about the game's significance, popularity etc. from different cultural points of view. We are also trying to find some people to show UI students how to play. The event is slated for January 28th at Mayflower hall from about 7:00. Transportation and refreshments will be provided. If you know anyone who may be interested please ask them to contact me by email or phone anytime. I do apologize for the short notice and am very grateful for you taking the time to read this email.

４．アイオワシティ日本語補習校の幼稚部では新学期にむけ生徒を募集しています。入学資格は今年の３月３１日の時点で、満３歳から５歳のお子さんです。ご希望の方は studorg-jssc@uiowa.edu まで、ご連絡ください。
